Products

  • Product dimensions and finishes may vary from the details shown on our website or in our brochure as everything is handmade by us.
  • We reserve the right to modify the designs or prices or our products without notice as our designs and processes are constantly improving.

How to order

  • Please place your order by calling us on 01225 851577 or emailing us at info@garden-requisites.co.uk
  • We will always confirm your order in writing by post. Please check that all the details are correct to ensure that the specification matches your requirements.
  • Any discrepancies must be notified within 24 hours of receipt of confirmation, as we make everything to order specially for you and will begin the production process once your order is confirmed.
  • Most orders for standard sized products will be ready in 4-6 weeks.

Payment

  • Full payment is usually taken at the time of order. If only a deposit has been paid, the balance is payable as soon as your products are ready.
  • We accept debit cards, credit cards (not AMEX), bank transfers or cheques payable to Garden Requisites Limited.
  • Goods remain the property of Garden Requisites until paid for in full.

UK Delivery

  • Delivery is charged at cost. We will confirm the cost of delivery when you place your order as this will vary with size, number and destination of goods.
  • Once your order is ready, we will contact you to arrange a convenient date for delivery or collection.
  • We use a national carrier and they require a signature to prove that the package/s has been received in good condition – standard delivery is Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm unless otherwise agreed.
  • It is your responsibility to check the condition of the outer packaging before signing for the goods.
    Once received, do not leave the products unwrapped and unchecked as it is your responsibility to report any product damage within 24 hours of receipt.
  • If you do see any damage, you must write ‘damaged’ under your signature and call us immediately. Failure to do so will invalidate any claim. A photograph of the damage will help the claims process.
  • All collections from our workshops must be made within 2 weeks of notification, otherwise we reserve the right to charge for storage.

International Delivery

  • Postage and packaging prices will vary depending on the destination. We will provide a written quotation prior to placing your order.
  • We will confirm the cost of delivery when you place your order as this will vary with size, number and destination of goods.
  • We will contact you to arrange a convenient date for delivery, pending customs.
  • We use an international carrier and they will require a signature to prove that the package/s has been received in good condition – they will not leave the goods unattended.
  • It is your responsibility to check the condition of the outer packaging before signing for the goods.

Cancellation policy

  • If you’ve placed an order for an item that is actually in stock, you may cancel your order within 14 days as laid out under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014. In this case only, you should return the goods to us at your cost within 14 days of such cancellation. We will reimburse you (by the method used to pay for the original transaction) the amount in relation to the goods to which cancellation rights applies.
  • However, Garden Requisites are a manufacturer, not a retailer. We show many different designs in many different finishes and make almost every product especially for each customer; this manufacturing process will typically take 4-6 weeks.
  • If you’ve placed an order but wish to cancel, call us immediately. If we haven’t started production, we’ll be very happy to offer a full refund of monies paid, less an administration fee. As most products are made to order -regardless of standard size or finish – if production is already underway, we will have incurred labour and materials costs and you may lose any monies paid if you chose to cancel your order.

Returns policy

  • Unless your product was in stock when placing your order, we’re unable to offer any refunds unless a product is received faulty or damaged.
  • If the product is faulty or damaged, please contact us within 24 hours. We’ll organise a replacement or a refund once you’ve returned the product to us in its original packaging.
  • We’ll refund any delivery charge you’ve paid when a product is damaged or faulty but not otherwise.
  • In the unlikely event that you receive an incorrect product, please inform us within 14 days to receive a replacement.  Do not use the product and keep the original packaging for us to arrange collection.  If the product has been used in any way, we reserve the right to refuse the offer of a replacement.
