High quality British products are always a joy to source and finding so many huddled together at the market was inspiring. We bought some local cheese made in deepest Somerset and craft ale from Wiltshire. The silver jewellery, knitted jumpers and velvet hats were a delight, as were the fabulous food and drink stalls.
Nothing heralds the season of goodwill to all men like the distinctive sound of carol singers, especially the ones singing underneath the elliptical arch in Abbey Green. On that note, we wish you all a very happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year.
